Any one who has an interest in cars, motorbikes or planes has to see this collection! If you have no interest at all, visit the chateau and try the wines!
We are in Savigny-les-Beaune; a really pretty, old village just outside of Beaune in Burgundy country near Dijon.
Chateau de Savigny is in the heart of the village, built around 1340. It was demolished in 1478 for political reasons and then restored and extended in the 17th Century. Wine, tourism and events help maintain the estate.
I should point out that we have almost 2 weeks between races to sightsee and this is one of the surprise finds.
