Housekeeping and driving.

We made the decision to get back to England earlier so we can have some work done on the Gemini.

We had to get on the cell phone on the side of the road, decide on a mechanic (a lot based on where we are headed and who could do the work prior to Brands Hatch), order parts, change bookings. Thank goodness for smart phones!

You may be interested to know that we paid £480 return for the Brittany Ferries Portsmouth to Caen  for motorhome and trailer. We are now traveling back on the overnight on Wednesday.  This means a cabin. We have paid an extra £290 to change our reservation! Could have stayed at the Ritz instead!
