We had a delicious lunch! I had smoked trout salad and Noel a French version of a hamburger on black bread bun. He said it was very good. Rose of course.
We wandered around the old town and up to the chateau. It's lovely with lots of restaurants and shops and although touristy, has a "real" feel to it. There are green parks along the front of the lake that give it a relaxed atmosphere. Cyclists pour in from the lake-long cycle path. I can hear many different languages around us. The locals seem quite used to helping foreigners.
