I didn't tell you that we met Serge Kriknoff who bought Noel's beautiful Lotus 22 at Dijon-Prenois. He had 2 cars there and was driving in the endurance races. We only saw him briefly.
Yesterday, we moved to Neydens which is close to where he lives and close to Geneva.
He picked us up after lunch and we liked him immediately. We spent some 3 hours at his office and the workshop of MB and F who produce the most unusual and most expensive time pieces we have ever seen. We visited their art gallery in the heart of Geneva where they display and sell their own "art" and that of other selected artists who make "mechanical art devices". The name of the gallery is: M. A. D.
Serge is very passionate about the company and made a wonderful tour guide, explaining the design process, how each machine worked, what each team member did, and the general philosophy of the company.
In the evening, we relaxed with the family at a great Swiss restaurant. Ate and drank far too much. All delicious!
