Because of rescheduling, we had an unexpected stay overnight in Brighton. It was raining heavily when we set up camp but next day the sun was shining although there was a cool wind.
We unpacked the bikes and biked along the esplanade. Really good to get some exercise and fresh air. Surprised at the extent of the Victorian houses along the waterfront. The pebble beach was not inspiring by Downunder standards, but lots of people out and about and some beautiful buildings to admire.
It was a long drive to the next camp near Chichester in very heavy traffic. Finally got there at 4:45 pm without lunch.
Out for dinner with friends. Lovely relaxing evening.
