They came over the hill and twisted around the corner. Robin first and Noel close behind, followed by Mark Woodhouse. I was sitting next to Rose who had sweaty hands. The French commentators managed to get all the names right; particularly doing well with the difference between Woodford and Woodhouse.
However, the glory went to Robin - it was his birthday after all! He won 2 more silver plates, followed by Mike Walker and Mark Woodhouse. Noel in fourth.
Duncan presented more silver plates: Robin of course who also was overall winner, Graham Barron won under 1 litre class, jousting with Tony Olissoff, Neil Tolich won Front engine group A and Noel won first in class. Duncan makes lovely speeches and everyone had a glass (paper cup actually) of something and a piece of Robin's birthday cake.
Lots of problems for lots of cars but everyone had a really good weekend.
