Historic Grand Prix Copenhagen: the FJ race.

It rained earlier in the day but was fine for the FJ race.

Ian Rowley had a fantastic start in his Lola Mk5 and pulled well ahead of the bunch where he stayed for the whole race. Noel quickly gained third place and then second, holding off John Sykes in his Merlin Mk5 all the way. Robin's Lola Mk2 did well to get to 4th but couldn't pass John.

In the end, it was Ian 1, Noel 2, John 3 with Robin in first of the front engines.  It was great to see the friends and nice guys on the podium together. Noel in the rear engine drum braked car, not having driven the circuit before, did really well. He still has an oil leak, which John can attest to. More work to do! We have to solve it before Goodwood!
