I'm not sure which is worse: German or English traffic.
The road works are phenomenal here in Germany. This must be lifetime work for those who work on the roads.
Heading south to Munich, especially around Wurzberg, the works are giant undertakings. Widening the autobahn, building bridges, tunnels and on and off ramps. In many cases adding 3 or for new lanes. In the meantime traffic slows to a halt, towing the trailer we are already severely limited to 80k and in roadworks areas which often go for many kilometres, we are unable to pass. In areas where speed is unlimited, cars speed past us at 300kphr!
We arrived safely in Munich and parked up in a busy camping ground not far from public transport.
