We drove the motorhome without the trailer into the city. We had it on good authority that we would find a free parking spot. This was not to be! We did find a park but the pay system would not work on our NZ phones nor on the UK one. We took the risk, posting a ridiculously naive note explaining that we were from NZ, tried to pay and would they forgive us.
We then headed off on a city tour which took much longer than we thought. Over 2 hours and we got back to find we were safe and sound.
For that reason we didn't get off and on the bus but kept going. It was none the less very worth while and interesting. Bikes everywhere!
