BMW Welt

The architecture is amazing. Fabulous cars and bikes with interesting history.

There are actually two buildings connected by a sweeping walkway that crosses a major road. One houses the newest BMWs and the other, also very modern, is the museum and in many ways, the most interesting.

We found both buildings a bit hard to navigate. We felt the exhibitions didn't flow as they should. Great to go though. We parked underneath the main building - 3 hours for six euros, had a great lunch on the top floor of the same building and entrance was free. We did pay as "seniors" to go to the special exhibition. The very charming lady selling tickets did not believe our ages!

Sorry BMW, much as we liked the buildings, we enjoyed the Mercedes exhibition in Stuttgart more!
