Vern was in the car park to greet us and we immediately met others in the Historic Ecosse Team. Everyone was very friendly. One lady loaned Noel one of her tramping sticks to use as a walking stick.
We decided to check into the hotel a day early as the parking lot was a quite a walk from anything and it would be easier for Noel in the hotel.
Vern arranged everything and his daughter, Jenny took us down. On arrival, Sebastian who is an owner of the hotel, arranged for Noel to see a doctor first thing in the morning and a driver to get us there.
The views from our room are beautiful and we slept, or tried to, with the balcony doors wide open.
