The beautiful church at the end of the avenue needs it's bullet holes repaired and needs a paint. Inside, all the religious art has been removed and it looks sad and empty. The proverbial beggar at the front door adds to the sadness.
There are some glamorous shops along the avenue, including one selling sophisticated fur coats and jackets. No customers in the heat!
We dined again at a great little Italian restaurant with very friendly service. Best food do far!
