Matt came and fitted a new tachometer yesterday. Today is the test for the oil leak!
Second up for the day. Lining up on the dummy grid. Not raining but the track will be very slippery. Lots of lovely friends who we've got to know over the years. A dressed up and colourful crowd.
The Gemini completed the qualifying coming in at 12 out of 30 started. Same as 2013. Small oil leak still apparent. Noel was selected for spot scutineering but they didn't notice.
To fuel the car, you can't do it in the pits but must drive it to be filled after lining up for ever. They seem to make everything complicated.
After a shower at the Drivers Club and changing into "period" clothes, Noel faced the long, wet and very muddy trudge back to the camping ground.
