Goodwood at last!

The journey should have taken us half an hour if only we had followed our SATNAV! When we got close to Goodwood, we followed the signs and ended up in mud in the wrong place. To get out we went down some terrifyingly narrow lanes with oncoming traffic. Heart stopping!

Eventually we found where we were meant to be and had to wait another half hour as the lane to the Formula Junior area was blocked by a large truck unloading cars.

We finally unloaded the Gemini. We have been given a position right next to Sir John Chisholm who has the other Gemini participating.

Its not raining today but a strong, cold wind blows in across the airfield exactly where the Gemini is parked. Rain threatened for the weekend. There is already mud everywhere in car park E where everyone is or will be camped. We gave up our powered site which cost us £100 as it was too far to walk across the fields to get to the crossing to get to the airfield. All this took up the whole morning.

Now Noel's UK phone isn't working so we are heading back to Chichester as we really need it this weekend.
