Flat tyre!

We woke this morning to dry weather although the sun wasn't out. The motorhome felt as though it was on a bit of a lean. When Noel checked, we had a totally flat tyre, front right.

He had no equipment to change it and we had no breakdown cover because we are not UK residents. We called a number of emergency and tyre service  people but the earliest help was two days away. (We are going to Silverstone later.)

In the meantime, our campsite neighbour came over and offered to help: firstly with a jack and secondly to take the tyre and Noel to a local tyre shop. Such a kind man!

They couldn't find anything wrong with the tyre and Noel bought some equipment and they pumped up the tyre.

Back at the campsite, we watched again as the tyre continued loosing air. So we jumped back in and drove back to the tyre shop, hoping that the air would last until we got there.

Almost there and we noticed another specialty tyre place and pulled in. He changed the valve and offered for us to park there so we could catch a bus into Cambridge from there. No Cost! Another nice man!

So the day was not entirely lost!
