Duxford

Left Robin and Sue to head East to Cambridge.  Staying at camping ground minutes from Duxford air museum.

We spent a fascinating afternoon immersed in planes of all types. Oldies from WW1, Spitfires, U2 and many many more. Walked through Concorde! The length is unbelievable and yet it is so narrow! The analogue instruments and wiring were all exposed and overwhelmingly complex. How any pilot ever learnt how to fly it is amazing!
