The back is burnt and all the paintwork peeling and bubbled. Inside, it is all black but looks like it will clean up alright. Maybe some wiring to renew.
The cause is a missing banjo bolt, found on the floor of the car. This held the petrol line in place.
A very dangerous situation. According to Howden Ganley, it does happen and there are ways to prevent it.
