Still dry!
Noel late to the dummy grid and trying to work out who to follow so he knows the best lines to take. Unfortunately, they are all further forward so he has to make his own way.
Chris Drake (in another car - Elvis 300) is very quick. Noel found his confidence after 3 laps. The car went well.
Turned out, he had the 6th quickest time of 1:49.213. Chris was easily first with 1: 45.107. James Hicks was second fastest qualifier and John Chisholm third. John's car is almost identical to Noel's. Kim Shearn from Australia qualified 15th.
The sun has come out at last!
