Sue and I went to the Antiques Road Show at Holker Hall on the coast south of the Lakes District. It surprised me that it was so low key and gentle. All the recognizable voices and faces and lots of interesting people queuing. We joined the queue as Sue took some delightful mementos of her grandfather. These were handled with great sensitivity and appreciation. I really enjoyed the whole experience.
