Surprising discovery.

We were quite tired, so stopped at an Aire for a rest called Lozay, just north of St Jean d'Angely on the A10.
There was an amazing old archway, originally a church doorway, which led to a beautiful garden, styled in the old manner with sharp hedges and ornamental trees. Scattered throughout the garden, was a collection of rescued pieces of architecture from Roman to Middle Ages. It was such a surprise on the side of a major highway!
